We started The Village Nannies because we’ve lived the experience ourselves. After spending our summers nannying in Upstate New York and the Hamptons, we learned firsthand that a great nanny-family relationship goes far beyond childcare. A successful nanny pairing grants the opportunity for growth on all sides of the relationship.

Those summers taught us how meaningful it is when a family welcomes you into their home, trusts you with their children, and allows you to become part of their everyday life. We saw that families aren’t just looking for help - they’re looking for someone their children can connect with, learn from, and look up to as a role model.

That’s why we created this agency: to help families find caregivers who bring warmth, responsibility, and genuine heart into the home. Whether someone is spending a summer in New York, just graduated college, relocating to the city, or already a local looking for fulfilling work, we strive to connect families with young women who will build real, lasting bonds with the children they care for.
